I have the thrustmaster T300 with 4 Nm. Its aight. The wheel is a little smaller I think mine is 320mm and it can drift pretty well. Going from 2 to 4 opened a whole new world of SIM racing by making me able to drift way easier

Realistically drifting is just counter steering an oversteer if you have a rwd and steer hard to a certain direction the wheel will start to heat up and begin to slide you can counter steer by steering to the opposite direction and the parking brake for a more controlled speed and traction

Thanks for the video., I will try building it myself. I got a Moza R5. plan on using with ACC. BTW is ACC accurate with force feedback? I have been driving all my life not as aggressively as we do in the sims but seems the wheel is not reacting to the track. The forces I feel when making turns in real life for example in a LT1 Firbird WS6 don't feel same as in the sim.

None of this sadly works, when I do the zip file and open it, it just opens a content manager...

For those with single monitors, or even triple monitors. Using Content Manager with Assetto Corsa, there is now something called "Neck FX" that makes the view angle change based on turning angle of the car. It's basically a software Track IR/ Tobii Eye tracker, for free!

listen here moza r9 owners i assumed he has a 350mm wheel and i have the es wheel with 280mm, so i asked how much ffb i need if i want the same strengh like him and it said about 6,6 NM thats 77 percent of the r9 and it is just unoplayable even with wheel dampening 10. i dont know if it is because of the small es wheel but i dont think so. i testen DWG, Gravy, WDT street, at drift playground, asetto drift and a few others. in my experience the r9 is driftable until 55 percent, everything above is just shaking uncontrollable. but maybe somebody could help me

ok so with the start yes i just only saw the start you are completly right the wheel and else is expansive but i got a very cheap good deal for 190 a wheel wich costs 500 new plus a 200 wheelstand

woodinserts(threaded) on the topbar and shifter/handbrake wooden plate would make it easier to make changes instead of screwing directly into the wood. would be more flexible if u can change out the pieces. as for the table top you could vinyl wrap it in order to make it smooth

im gonna diy my rig with alu profiles. As a industrial technician is was working at a place that upgraded some of their machinery. I noticed the machine was built like 90% out of alu profile. Bought it for scrap price. Have it sitting in my garage now untill i get the time to build it.

You made a big point about how expensive chairs are...somebody built that chair once too why not add an extra length of wood some foam, a staple gun and a bit of fabric to your parts list and go full diy....cool thing i can see with building your own rig too for a general user that maybe has to put it away.....its not too difficult or expensive to add a few hinges and latches to make it foldable

4NM still seems to be a huge diff on a DD compared to a Belt Gear, have the t300 and i could clearly see the diff between yours and mine, DD behave so much better and more natural behavior and i have a feeling that my wheel loses some information during transitions and on bumps, cliffs etc. How does the wheel feel at higher NM? I mean youre sideways and trying to turn the wheel(DD), is it hard or is it light to turn?

It’s not about entry drift, but when I exit one, I often clutch kick twice rapidly instead of one long clutch kick. I feel like it gets me faster in high rpm and prevents the car to straighten up. Is it just me or an actual technique ?
